This has been a really great week with lots of Christmas Vouchers going to lovely homes, such organised people this year! Having said that I've done nearly all my Chrissie shopping already but that's because Christmas is always such a mad time for us I need to be done early!

Going to Malaysia was a big help, managed to get such great pressies over there - what an amazing place it was, can't wait to go back.

Have been to some terrific networking events lately, learning lots of new things about business is always useful and it's great to share ideas with other business owners. The Christmas event for the Women's Network of Australia was lots of fun. We had a table and showed off our newest skincare products Epicure Cosmeceuticals and the ladies really enjoyed chatting to Natalie, the owner of Epicure, about their skincare regimes. Plus they got lots of sample to take home which we all love! There is always a great group of women at these events and the venue, CQ Function Centre, always puts on a lovely lunch. It's a very sweet boutique hotel right in Queen St, well worth a look.

The other function I attended last week was at the Docklands with the Nationwide Networking Group. What an interesting area it is down there, but why is it so quiet?? It's quite eerie to see all these bars and restaurants open and ready for business but hardly a soul to be seen. Sort of like after a nuclear bomb, very odd!

Our speaker was great, Steve Sammartino of Rentoid and Startup School - a very interesting business that acts as a go between for people wanting to hire and hire out all sorts of items. Check it out, it's a great way to make some cash in a hurry.
